🎯 Objective

Draw a single path from 1 through every numbered waypoint in order, filling every cell in the grid.

What is the Zip puzzle game?

Zip is a daily logic puzzle where you draw a single continuous path through a grid. Starting at number 1, your path must visit each numbered waypoint in order — 1, 2, 3 and so on — while filling every single cell in the grid. No cell can be left empty, and the path cannot cross itself.

A new puzzle is released every day at midnight UTC. Your progress is saved automatically in your browser so you can pick up where you left off.

Zip puzzle tips and strategies

Think about dead ends first

Identify corners and edge cells that only have one way in — your path must enter and exit (or terminate) there. Plan around them early.

Plan between waypoints

Between each pair of consecutive waypoints, you must fill a certain section of the grid. Count the cells and figure out how the path must weave.

Don't rush straight to the next number

Going directly from 1 to 2 often leaves stranded cells. Explore side-paths first to cover hard-to-reach areas.

Walls change the shape

Yellow walls force detours. Trace what the wall physically blocks and re-route your plan to account for it early.

Zip puzzle — frequently asked questions

Can I come back and finish today's puzzle later?

Yes — your progress is saved automatically in your browser. Open the page again and your path will be exactly where you left it.

What happens when I reach the final waypoint?

The puzzle is only solved when your path reaches the final waypoint AND has covered every single cell. If there are empty cells remaining, you'll need to fill them before the puzzle counts as complete.

Do walls always make the puzzle harder?

Walls add constraints that actually help narrow down the solution — they eliminate certain path options, making it easier to rule out dead ends. Medium-difficulty puzzles with walls can sometimes be easier than open-grid puzzles.

Is there a time limit?

No — Zip is untimed (the timer only tracks how long you take for personal reference). Take as long as you need.
